âI thank the All-merciful God that before returning to Stockholm, I experienced the joy of meeting in Cluj with our Spiritual Fathers, The Most Blessed Metropolitan Andrei and His Grace Bishop Vasile Somesanul. Our gentle Father Bishop Vasile celebrated his 71st birthday yesterday, and tomorrow celebrates his name day. It is an example for us all as they bear, humbly and patiently, the cross of suffering, thus attesting to the words of the Holy Apostle Paul that the power of Christ is complete in weakness (2 Corinthians 12: 9).
