With the blessing of His Grace Father Bishop Iustin of Maramures and Satmar, on Sunday, December 29, 2019, His Grace Father Bishop Macarie of the Diocese of Northern Europe performed the Divine Liturgy in the parish church of Libotin, Maramures County (Romania) and baptized four infants from the community, Michael, Damian and Matthew. After the service he visited the Rohia Monastery where he performed the Trisaghion at the tomb of Archbishop Justinian. The evening was held in the Church of the “Ascension of the Lord” in Targu Lapuș, and caroled with the priests, children and believers present at the service.
